Reach Out to Mentally Ill

For their $20 Challenge Project, three students facilitated tabling sessions that raised awareness of mental illnesses and the stigma associated with them, and provided supplies and a space for St. Kate’s community members to make cards of support for patients hospitalized for their mental illness. The students worked in consultation with campus disabilities services and two local hospitals to be sure their information was accurate and needs met appropriately.
