Bella and Jaycee wanted their project to have a real impact. While researching topics, they realized that they could collect blood that would help save lives in their community. They contacted the Red Cross and followed their recommendations. But, they needed a place to make this all happen. Where could they find a place big enough to hold the event? How could they get people to sign up quickly? They contacted Bella’s church and found another willing partner. They both put in a lot of hard work: they needed to coordinate the space with the church, recruit people to sign up to donate, and help run the event on the day of donations. But, their work paid off: their project translated to over ninety lives saved!
