This group’s $20 Challenge Project targeted the very local community: fellow students. The group observed that students are so busy that they often neglect to take care of themselves. Many don’t eat properly, get enough sleep, or exercise. With work, school, and homework alone, many have 12 to 14 hour days—and that’s not including those who do sports, who are involved campus organizations, who have children, etc. The goal was to help students realize that with some effective time management skills, eating properly, exercising, and sleeping enough are things that can and should be made a priority. The group tabled on campus and hosted a workshop to help spread awareness and provide how-to information. (Based on a summary by Aysia Meyers.)
